Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on high-standard projects requiring GMP expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design pipe and pump installations.
  • Prepare P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and component lists.
  • Draft tender documents for contractors.
  • Specify requirements and procure components, pumps, and tanks.
  • Coordinate between production and project teams during construction phases.
  • Manage contracts with craftsmen suppliers, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in projects within the food or pharma industry.
  • Strong skills in project and risk management.
  • High-level communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A proactive, structured approach with accountability for assigned tasks.

  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • A “go-do” attitude with the ability to thrive in complex project settings.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Educational Background

Degree in Marine Engineering or BSc in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Hours: 37 hours per week.
  • Location: Kalundborg, 5 days on-site.
  • Start Date: Between March 1, 2025, and April 1, 2025.
